Range from grade 1 up to grade 9
As you will have seen in the media Pearson exam board is not releasing BTEC Level 1 and Level 2 results today. If you studied a BTEC course your results slip will show a Q next to these qualifications, to indicate the grade is pending. Once we have more information we will contact you. Post 16 providers are aware of this issue however if your enrolment onto your chosen course is affected please contact the academy for further support.
Centre Assessed Grades:
As you may have heard on the news, the government recently made the decision for exam boards to use Centre Assessed Grades to determine your results instead of an algorithm system that has now been deemed as unfair.
In order to calculate Centre Assessed Grades teachers used a range of evidence including your non-exam and classroom assessments and assignments, your PPE grades and any other records of your performance during Key Stage 4. At least two teachers and Subject Leaders were involved in agreeing each proposed grade before each one was signed off by Mrs Roberts, Head of School.
